Carry on Allowance
The following carry on rules based on the type of aircraft-
JAL/JEX (other than description below) JTA – passengers can carry on up to 10 kg of baggage not exceeding 115cm (l + w + h)
JAL/JEX (type M90/M87/M81)- passengers can carry on up to 10 kg of baggage not exceeding 115cm (l + w + h)
JAL (type CRJ)- passengers can carry on up to 10 kg of baggage not exceeding 100cm (l + w + h)
JAC HAC- passengers can carry on up to 10 kg of baggage not exceeding 80cm (l + w + h)
RAC - passengers can carry on up to 10 kg of baggage not exceeding 80cm (l + w + h)
Checked Baggage Allowance
You can check up to 3 pieces of baggage, each weighing not more than 15kg and not exceeding the dimension of 50 x 60 x 120 cm. Please note that baggage weighing not more than 45kg are not accepted and must be shipped as cargo.
Excess Baggage Rules
Additional charges apply for bagagge exceeding the limits of free allowance. For details, please contact your nearest Japan Transocean Air office.
Delayed Lost Damaged Baggage
Please report any delayed, damaged or lost baggage to Japan Transocean Air ground staff at the destination airport immediately after arrival.
Sports Equipment
Ski, golf and fishing equipmentv can be carried in lieu of your free checked baggage allowance.
