Carry on Allowance

Each Frontier Airlines passenger is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item such as a purse, briefcase, laptops etc. However, these should fall within the following permissible limits:
• Weighing not more than 35lbs/16 kg
• Not exceeding 49 linear inches/124 cm (length + width + height)

Checked Baggage Allowance

You’re allowed two pieces of checked baggage within the following requirements:
• Weighing not more than 50lbs/23 kg
• Not exceeding 62 linear inches/157 cm (length+ width+ height)

Excess Baggage Rules If your baggage exceeds Frontier Airlines' permissible limits of free baggage allowance, you're required to pay additional fee based on quantity, weight and size. For each bag weighing 51-100 lb, you’ll be charged an additional amount of $50. For every bag between 63 and 80 inches, you're required to pay an additional amount of $50. The rates for additional pieces of baggage are- $50 each for 1-2 pieces, $100 each for 3-15 pieces and $200 each for over 16 pieces. Bags weighing over 100 lbs and exceeding 80 inches are not accepted.
Delayed Lost Damaged Baggage

Please report any property loss, damage or delay, in person and within four hours of your arrival at your destination. If you've already left the airport, please contact the Found Property voicemail at 877-461-5737 (option 4) or send an email to lostandfound@flyfrontier.com with a detailed description of your lost item, and your contact information.
Liability: For travel wholly between U.S. points, liability shall not exceed $3,000 US dollars per ticketed passenger. Actual value for reimbursement of lost or damaged property will be determined by the documented original purchase price less any applicable depreciation.

International Liability Limit governed by the Warsaw Convention is US $9.07 per pound up to US$454 per bag. International Liability Limit governed by the Montreal Convention is 1000 Special Drawing Rights (SDR) per ticketed passenger. SDR's are an international monetary fund currency unit, converted to U.S. dollars, using the in-effect rate on the mishandled baggage settlement date.

Sports Equipment For sports equipments like surfboards, cycles etc, you’re required to pay a fixed handling fee. For detailed guidelines, please call up a Frontier Airlines agent.
