Business Class Travel » Business Class Travel News Business Class Travel NewsFriday, January 8, 2010 United Airlines has conveyed that it will not insist on flight-change fees for customers who wish to alter travel plans later this week in the Midwest and Southeast, which are bracing for winter storms.United Airlines stated that it would waive change fees for travelers booked to travel from, to or via some Midwest airports on Thursday and Friday or through some Southeast locations on Thursday.The airline said customers should check the status of their flights ahead of going to the airport to find out if it has been canceled. Customers on canceled flights are entitled for a full refund. Alterations to a customer's itinerary have to be made by midnight of the initial travel date, and rescheduled travel might cost extra for the itinerary or other terms of the booking change. The Midwest fee waivers are applicable to travel to, from and through Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin. The Southeast waivers are applicable to journey in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee.The offer is valid in all United, United Express and United code-share flights. |
