The main base of air Baltic is Riga international airport (RIX) which is the largest airline and the secondary hub is Vilnius, Lithuania which was announced on 30 September 2008. It operates 48 direct flights from Riga and 22 from Vilnius along with a 24 hrs flight between Kaliningrad and Copenhagen. On 5 September 2005, Air Baltic launched its first domestic service between Riga and Liep?ja.
